Emily + Jeff | Wedding

Truth be told, I had been looking forward to Emily and Jeff's wedding the moment I read Emily's initial inquiry message. Her message was genuine and heartfelt, and uniquely compassionate even though we had never met before. Walking away after meeting with her and Jeff at the beginning of the year, I just had a feeling that these two were very special.

They were married a couple weekends ago in her grandparents' backyard, which is a beautiful property and clearly so perfect for the type of celebration they were hoping for. Family and friends enjoyed each other's company while the little kids raced around the playground. Their decor had subtle nods to Minecraft, a game they both love, and their food was served by the amazing folks from Pie. One of the coolest moments was having the father-daughter dance include all the dads and daughters who were at the wedding, not just Emily and her dad. It was a wonderful day, filled with wonderful people. I'm so thankful to have played a small part of their big day.
