Greg + Andrew | Wedding

Greg and Andrew were blessed with a gloriously sunny wedding day in Portland a couple weeks back. I have had the pleasure of knowing these two for quite a few years, and am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be with them on such a special day in their lives.

Rarely have I seen two people who are as well matched as these two are. Each individual perfectly complements his partner, bringing out the absolute best in both of them. That is what we all hope for, yes? To find someone who is the yin to your yang, who sees and understands you for who you are, and who loves you in your entirety.

For the second weekend in the row, the Obergefell v. Hodges decision was incorporated into the wedding ceremony. Being somewhat familiar with it now, it literally took everything I had not to throw up all the praise hands when the reader concluded "It is so ordered." If you have not had the chance to read the final remarks on this case, I highly recommend taking a few minutes to do so. It is so well written, it makes me want to dive into more Supreme Court decisions in my spare time. ;)
