Sarah + Aaron | Wedding

“If I had a flower for every time thought of you… I could walk through my garden forever.” ~Alfred Tennyson

Sarah and Aaron's wedding day was simply beautiful, from start to finish. These two made it clear from the start that they wanted the focus of the day to be on celebrating with family friends. Each detail was carefully thought out and customized, from the lace on Sarah's stunning gown to serving cannoli instead of cake. Rather than being announced before dinner, they chose to sneak in during cocktail hour to spend more time with their guests. Each table was filled with snapshots of family vacations and memories built together.

Both Sarah and Aaron are lawyers, so it was fitting that both of the readings during their ceremony were Supreme Court decisions (Loving v. Virginia - 1967 and Obergefell v. Hodges - 2015). Each friend that read the decision did such a wonderful job conveying the message. Knowing how impactful these decisions have been for our society and listening a well thought out argument in support of people who truly love each other, I was nearly brought to tears when the conclusions of "It is so ordered" were read.

These two had a fabulous team of folks who made their day at The Edgewater Hotel so wonderful. Michelle and her team from Sorrida Salon nailed it with hair and make-up. Lazaro Bridal created an absolutely stunning dress for Sarah. Althauser Design crafted the beautiful florals for the day, including a lovely arch for the ceremony, and DJ Justin brought the house down with some epic music!
